I actually fixed something!! Our front screen door had a huge hole in it.. i hated having the door open for air since the dogs could stick their whole head thru.. I'm getting tired of asking the person to fix things *the one who owns the house* and DH is not a Mr. Fix it around the house.. sure ask him anything mechanical and be prepared to wait an hr before he gets done talking.. LOL But i went to home depot got the "pet screen" supposed to be plastic screen with fibers to hold them back *they don't know my dog* but i'll try it.. Got the old screen out and spent an hr trying to put the new screen in.. but I DID IT!!! I still have to fix the sliding glass door screen but i'll need some sawhorses for that since it won't fit on my table..
I am waiting for my son to come over and hold up the new bathroom light. I can`t hold it up and hook the wires together and then there is the fact that I have to figure out a way to hold up the frame. I am thinking a spring aroundthe hooky up thing???????.

Ya good for you!! I need to do the sliding door too. I put wood in the bottom cause the cats and dogs scratched holes in the screen, but the cats just jump to the top of the wood and hold on to the screen. *sigh* can't win for losing. I'll have to look for this pet screen you are talking about thought.
Sharon, I totally know what you mean. On the ceiling fans I installed, there is a hook thingy and a wire to hold up while you do the wires.. Maybe an old piece of electrical wire would do the job?
