Who is A Truckers Wife?

Hi! My name is Kelly and I am a truckers wife.

ATruckersWife.com was created from an idea that women like us, needed a place where we could go to find information, support and other things that pertain to us.

I had been looking on the web for two basic things:
1. Information for my trucker husband. I was generally the one who looked up road conditions and weather information while he got himself ready to go.
2. Other women who were in the same situation as I was, who could understand how I felt living this type of life.

I found myself with quite a list of bookmarks that I used frequently to look things up for my trucking husband and so with that list, ATruckersWife.com registered and the creation of the community forums, I began this site.

With the inclusion of articles, online cards, contests and more fun things to do, this site has grown quite a bit since it conception. I hope you will find this a place of laughter, comfort and even a few tears.

I must add a great big thank you to all the wonderful folks in the community forums who have contributed to this site! Many ideas for inclusions on this site have also been borne there!
